JULY STATE RALLY AT
FORT DODGE

You are invited to come to the Iowa State Rally to our “Tailgate Party”. Join in on the fun and dress in your favorite team sports wear. Have fun decorating your coach with your favorite team regalia and cheer for that team. There will be a pet parade so why not dress your pet in the same team colors!
We will be having a silent auction, so bring your items to donate. The Traveling Library will be open so bring any books you are finished with and trade them in for others you may want to read.
If you have not sent in your reservation yet, please complete the attached form and mail as soon as possible. (Remember the fee goes up to $95.00 if we have not received your registration by June 15, 2007.)
Directions: From I-35 take Exit 142B to US 20 West. From US 20, take Exit 121 towards

If you were not at the Spring Meeting you missed a good time to wear your western attire and enjoy “How the West was Fun”. Thirty-one coaches were in attendance including our area reps, Guy & Marianne Andenoro.
A tour of the Salisbury House was taken, which
was modeled after the King’s
House in
Friday evening after a huge potluck dinner, Cowboy Bob entertained us with his tall tails and hilarious stories.
After flapjacks and sausages on Saturday
morning, we all went to visit Trainland U.S.A. in Colfax which is an operating
toy train museum displaying Lionel trains and accessories representing three
eras of time; frontier, steam and diesel.
It was fun to locate the points of interest in each state as you went
along, as for

Did Cowgirls Janet Walderbach, Betty Eklofe,
Shirley Little
and Mary Frisbie just
get thru eating ice cream?!
The afternoon was enjoyed by an ice cream social provided by Farm & City Insurance Services. After a catered meal, we watched caricature artist Steve Baier draw his rendition of several couples. We had some good laughs watching him draw, making the couples being drawn wonder what the end result of their picture would look like.
